Our principles of Wellness & Vitality are based on physical, emotional, spiritual, vocational, intellectual and social wellness. We encourage a healthy lifestyle for both our residents and employees, through newsletters, social events, a wide variety of programming, and the Wellness & Vitality facilities.


Our HELPING HANDS charity assists less fortunate seniors, those who live below the poverty line in Canada. We do this through capital project funding and by creating and delivering gift baskets over the holiday season. Every December, the Amica HELPING HANDS community program distributes baskets full of gifts, non–perishable foods, a gift certificate for a local supermarket and a warm blanket to seniors in need. Amica HELPING HANDS commitment and mandate to reach out to seniors continues through the year providing assistance to some of Canada’s most vulnerable seniors.
