We are currently recruiting for the following position:
COOK
Amica at London, London, ON
(Part–Time)
You are committed to service excellence and pride yourself in exceeding dining expectations by contributing to a culinary experience of the highest quality, consistency and creativity. Under the direction of the Sous Chef, you will be responsible for daily meal preparation from pre–determined menus, ensuring food quality and presentation meets “5 Star” standards and contribute to the smooth operation of the kitchen.
You have minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a variety of dining environments. You must have formal fine dining kitchen experience and Red Seal certification in cooking as well as Food Handling Certification. You are a dynamic, customer–focused self–starter with excellent communication skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Cooking school training and previous hotel experience at a “5 Star” property are assets. Applicants should be flexible as this position requires weekend & weekday shifts.
