Andrea Prashad ~ Senior Vice President of Operations

Andrea plays a key role in shaping enterprise strategy and strengthening operational performance at Amica with more than two decades of experience leading complex, multi-site service organizations across real estate, healthcare, hospitality and retail.

With full P&L accountability, Andrea provides executive oversight of Amica’s large, multi-site operating portfolio and advances enterprise priorities related to operational excellence, financial performance, resident experience, asset performance, risk management and leadership development.

She works closely with executive leadership and ownership stakeholders to strengthen the operating model, scale performance systems and position the organization for sustained growth and long-term value creation.

Andrea brings deep Board and governance experience to her role. In addition to serving on Amica’s corporate Board, she has spent nearly a decade on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Retirement Communities Association, where she currently serves as Past Chair. In these roles, she contributes to sector strategy, regulatory advocacy and governance oversight during a period of significant demographic and regulatory change.

Andrea holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences, LL.B, and a Master of Public Policy, Administration and Law. She has completed governance education through the Institute of Corporate Directors at the University of Toronto and executive education at Harvard University focused on regulatory strategy and enforcement.
