Erica is a seasoned healthcare executive with more than 15 years of leadership experience across multiple sectors of the healthcare industry. As Vice President, People & Culture she provides strategic and operational leadership for all aspect of the human-resource function and serves as a business partner to the senior-leadership team ensuring teams are best equipped to meet Amica’s strategic and operational goals. In addition, she continues to oversee Amica’s risk program. Erica holds a Master of Science in Physiotherapy and a Master of Business Administration and is a registered Physiotherapist and Chartered Professional Accountant.
Since joining Amica in 2014, Erica has held progressively senior-leadership roles, spanning Life Enrichment, Regional Operations and Sales, and Wellness and Risk, building a reputation as a trusted leader who drives outcomes, consistency, quality and innovation. Her work has been instrumental in developing and strengthening national standards, stabilizing operations, driving financial, resident and team outcomes and proactively managing risk across the organization.
Beyond Amica, Erica is an active contributor to the broader seniors’ living sector. She is a board member of the Ontario Retirement Communities Association and sits on industry association committees. She also has been appointed to the Retirement Homes Regulatory Authority Licensee Engagement Forum, where she provides strategic guidance and operator insight on future licensing and regulatory initiatives.
