Life is sweeter than ever for Amica residents, thanks to our exciting partnership with Alvéole, an urban beekeeping company. Alvéole has installed honey-bee hives at several Amica residences, to help us boost pollinator populations that are vital to the environment, sustainability and the food chain. So it’s no surprise that our seniors are buzzing about urban beekeeping. The partnership has also inspired Chef Gary McBlain, Amica’s National Director of Culinary Services, to create three delectable recipes with Amica honey — because like all Amica Red Seal chefs, he loves cooking with local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients.
