Amica & Alvéole
Life has been sweet for Amica residents, thanks to our partnership with Alvéole, an urban beekeeping company. Alvéole installed honeybee hives at several Amica residences to boost pollinator populations, which are vital to the environment, sustainability and the food chain. So it’s no surprise our seniors were buzzing about urban beekeeping.
The partnership inspired Chef Gary McBlain, Amica’s national director of Culinary Services, to create three delectable recipes with Amica honey, because — like all Amica Red Seal-certified chefs — he loves cooking with local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients.
