Your comfort, care and safety are ensured around the clock by licensed nurses and professional care aides.
Certified wellness staff
While other senior living operators may base their staffing on annual budgets, Amica residences are staffed specifically to meet the actual care needs of our residents. This means that as our residents require more support, we are able to provide it by increasing our teams. It’s as simple as that.
All care needs are overseen by a Director of Wellness – a Registered Nurse selected for their education, experience, clinical background, and expertise working with seniors. A Wellness Coordinator helps organize care services for every resident. Residents and family members alike appreciate knowing that a Registered Nurse is on duty around the clock and that the same friendly, certified aides will be providing your loved ones with assistance every day.

Assisted living suites
Your assisted living suite is filled with natural light, smart storage and accessible features so you can live comfortably. Choose from a variety of sizes and floor plans and add your personal stamp to make your suite feel like home. Specialized lightweight hardware makes your suite door easier to open and close using minimal pressure. Windows are placed low enough that you can enjoy the view from the comfort of your chair or bed. Corners and doorways accommodate mobility devices such as a cane, walker or wheelchair. Washrooms are carefully designed to ensure privacy and support with grab bars and accessible bathroom fixtures for your comfort and safety.

The following services are included for Assisted Living residents: three meals served daily, snacks and drinks available in self-serve bistro, personal laundry, flat linen laundry, daily room tidy, weekly suite cleaning, assistance with bathing or showering, scheduled transportation for shopping and excursions, 24/7 concierge and personal emergency response pendant with on-site monitoring.
Additional care services
The following services are available a-la-carte or as part of a bundle: personal care and support plan, assistance with dressing and/or grooming, additional bathing assistance (more than once weekly), medication management, escort assistance, mechanical or hydraulic lift services, continence care, wound care, CPAP or Bi-PAP, tension stockings, B12 injections, oxygen.

Three delicious meals served daily prepared by experienced chefs. Meals are served in a dedicated dining room conveniently located on your floor. Fresh, light fare and beverages are available all day in the self-serve bistro. You can invite family and friends to join you anytime. We offer personal assistance with meals for residents who request it. Our kitchen is pleased to accommodate special dietary requirements and preferences.
