- What’s it like in Victoria where Somerset House is situated?
Ideally situated, Amica Somerset House is on Dallas Road, one of Victoria’s most appealing and well-loved streets. Take advantage of Dallas Road’s flat, wide and newly redone walking trails.
From the trails, you can savour ocean views and lovely beaches, and reach favourite destinations such as Holland Point Park directly across the road, and Clover Point to the east. To the west is Ogden Point, where you can watch cruise ships dock and seaplanes land and take off. You may even spot local wildlife such as river otters, harbour seals or orcas.
The charming neighbourhood of James Bay, just two blocks away, offers shops, galleries, services and eateries. Beacon Hill Park is a nearby 62-acre green space, featuring festivals, accessible trails, a band pavilion, children’s farm and beautiful grounds.
